How do I get a data cable for my Resmed S8 AutoSet II

The data cable for my Resmed S8 AutoSet II is no longer for sale on CPAP.com . Anyone know how I can get one?

Also, I guess the card and card reader are an option. Any difference in the amount or variety of data you can get from the card as opposed to the data cable?

Do a google search for supplier - you can find both card reader and adapter: http://www.google.com/search?q=resmed+u ... =firefox-a

If you purchase the usb data cable/adapter (same price as card reader), you don't need the ResScan data card. You basically plug the adapter into the S8 and connect with usb to your pc and download directly.

I cannot remember about days of summary data offhand, but with the card, you can download 5 days of full data only. I think if you do the cable, you can get 10.

I want to say that with summary data, it is a 180/360 split, but maybe I am wrong.

I just looked on cpapdotcom and they had the data reader available under "ResScan USB Adapter for ResMed S8 and S8 II Series Machines"

I see the card reader is not even available on cpapdotcom. I wonder what is going on, did they run out or is ResMed pulling in the reinds? I did find the card reader at a place called Respiroatory Solutions for $74.99.

Both the card and the USB only do 5 day's detailed. The card does 180 days summary and the USB 360 days summary.
