After 2 snow storms in 6 days I just had to have a look.
Took a drive up Juniper Pass to Mt. Evans. The first leg of the TBP.
It was a beautiful sunny day. 36F and wind blowing, chilly.
When you're on a bike, this sign builds character.

NO picnics today.

Looking down Vance Ck. to the east. Platte Valley on the horizon.

Grays and Torrys peaks. Both 14er's.

Mt. Evans rd, on the north side of Mt. Goliath and
contnuing on up toward Lincoln Lk.

Head wall of Chicago Basin, northern drainage of Mt. Evans.

The big picture.

...yea, this is the road up Mt. Evans.

...yea, the road is closed.....except skis and snowshoes.

No Gatoraid at the lodge today, either.

~3.5mths to go.
A lot a sun needs to shine,
a lot of miles to ride,
adventures to be had.
