internet supplier without politics

I think this is interesting to discuss without adding political comments.

What is it you want to discuss about it? It seems like a decent, responsible site. I didn't read everything on it (!) so don't know if there's a 'bottom line' trying to sell us on a dental device vs Cpap, but didn't get that feeling from the home page.

I think it will help many who can't afford a sleep study who know they have apnea. I know that I knew I had sleep apnea without needing to do an overnight sleep study.

AFAIK - Unless the doc is licensed in the state of CT - the script would NOT be valid in CT. I would think that many other states have the same requirement.

I guess we could ask that question. Not sure why you couldn't get a prescription in any state? Say I was visiting my daughter in Ct..and got a prescription there ( which I have for other ailments) Does that mean I could not refill in home state? Just curious.

I wonder how it is, then, that so many places selling drugs and medical equipment that require prescriptions are willing to fill orders for out of state customers? Are you saying that cpap.com should not be filling orders unless you got your prescription from a doctor in their state? I must not be understanding you correctly.

I believe the statute for The State with the Funny Handle On It says:
(22) "Prescribing practitioner" means an individual licensed by the state of Connecticut, any other state of the United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico or any territory or insular possession subject to the jurisdiction of the United States who is authorized to issue a prescription within the scope of the individual's practice;

Not sure what "The State with the Funny Handle" is but I guess I stand corrected. A round of oxy's for all?

o Oh...is that a driver's license or a hunting license?
