The LT is heavier than the Activa, the cussion is deep (lests say if you put the cussions flat on a table the LT goes high), the LT have a tendency to slide on my head, I have had unable to stops leaks with LT (0.06 l/min), although I have most of the time cero leaks with the Activa. I think this is due to the way how the cushion sits on my face with the adjustment of the forehead angle.
I find the Activa allows me more freedom of movement (side and belly sleeping easily). The LT cussion seems harder than the Activa one.
Something I haven't try is to put the Activa cusion (size Regular) instead of the LT cushion (medium). Maybe this will give me the solution for the leaks.
That's only my oppinion, all this depends on your face shape.
rosacer.
I have used both the Activa and the Activa LT. Although I now use a Swift FX nasal pillow, I found that with the the LT there was BIG difference between the LT medium cushion and the Activa regular cushion. Using the Active regular cushion on the LT made a HUGE difference in comfort to me.

Guys, I just had an incredible night of sleep. 8 hours. I got up once to take some pain medication as I have arthritis and spine issues and sleeping so soundly that I don't budge causes troubles. I did not budge last night. Got up at about 3:30 a.m. and took some Tylenol (I was on Oxycontin at one point), paid a visit to the loo and went right back to sleep until almost 7 a.m. In fact, I enjoyed it so much I think I may go back and try for another couple of hours to see if I can build up a real head of steam and get out today for a long walk in the park!
The Mirage Activa LT performed flawlessly.... I may swap out for the Comfort Gel just for giggles and farts to see what happens, but I cannot recommend ANY mask more highly than the aforementioned thus far. If there is a better one out there I will be more than pleased to give it a try, believe me. But that Mirage Activa LT sure does the job. You do need to take a minute or so to get it adjusted right every time you put it on though. The Respironics has a mask fitting feature that will blow air to inflate the mask to permit you to get it just right... adjust the straps so it is 'just tight enough' but not too tight and away you go. Jeez, what a great night of sleep.
Fall colours. One of God's gifts. Life is fragile and short, savour every moment no matter what your problems may be. These stunning fall colours from my first outing after surviving a month on life support due to H1N1.
