Swift Fx finally arrives!!!

Post by polishpower » Tue Mar 23, 2010 8:16 am

Hello all, recieved my new Swift Fx yesterday. I had too wait 2 weeks for delivery, but now am happy to have it. I used it last night, and it was different than my Activa. I adjusted to the exhaling under pressure, and after I got used too that, slep soundly for most of the night. I did wake up 2x's on my side but had no issues with leaks. I used the forums trick of the lanoilin cream in the nares and it seemed too work like a charm. The other thing geeting used too will be the hose, since it's located closer too my head, I have a harder time keeping it out of my face or on my neck while sleeping on my side. Any suggestions?
I am predomiately a side sleeper and this mask is perfect for that, i reccommend it to you all and that's only after one night.
Sweet dreams too all!!!!

Glad you are enjoying your Swift FX. I love mine too. I just put my hose under the covers with me, but sometimes I turn it around so that it is up by the headboard. There are many products designed for hose management as well: https://www.cpap.com/simple-find-cpap-p ... opbybrand=.

Wishing you peaceful, restorative sleep,

Hi,

My FX arrived yesterday, and I tried it last night. I was a little underwhelmed by the first night. The biggest item I ran into is that there is nothing to hold the pillows at any given angle. They were constantly tipping down and causing small leaks. The air would invariably blow into my eyes. The other item is that the strap would constantly ride up to the top of my head, and the mask would fall off.

It is nice and light, and the small flexible hose is kind of neat.

To be fair, I haven't read the book yet or looked at any fitting instructions. The Swift LT instantly worked well for me, so I may have had some unreasonable expectations that this would be much better than the LT. I will try it again and see if I can work the kinks out.

Just got a FX on Monday. It does have some leakage / adjustment issues but it is comfortable and once adjustments are made it makes for a good night. Very satisfied with the change.
