Nasal Seal For Twilight NP, AEIOmed Headrest turning purple

Post by dewey.bertolini » Mon Mar 22, 2010 6:57 pm

The inside of the nasal seal is turning purple, darkest around the metal that is embedded in the silicon. I have now had this happen on two of them. Has anyone else had this happen? Is it something to be concerned about? Thanks so much!

Hi Dewey,

I've been using the AEIOMED Headrest for about a year, including ordering about six pillows over the course of the year. I've never seen any discoloration.

You could always call the manufacturer and ask if this has been reported before.

Joy

4 years of use, oldest version seals (very thin) and newer version (slightly thicker) and I've never seen anything like that.
Two questions:
  • When did you by the seals?
    How are you washing then?
I agree with Joy: I would contact the manufacturers -- and if you do, please tell us what they reply.
TIA
O.

In five years, haven't seen that happen to any of mine. My present nasal seal... I've been using for almost a year.

Oh, I should add that I bought my last one about a year ago.
