There are more uses for these masks and machines than were ever dreamed of by the creators.

Weight Gain

I went in for my 1 month check up from my doctor today.

I complained about still being tired, slight foggy headache at awaking and WEIGHT GAIN of 9 lbs since May 31.

He explained to me that I had severe sleep apnea. Before CPAP, my body tried so hard to sleep that I used more calories.

Now, using less calories but sleeping more restful = weight gain.

I am slightly overweight, but not obese, but was not happy with the weight gain.

I guess my next step is to make a journal to see where I can - at least not gain anymore!!

Please someone tell me where to find this Friday weight loss support group? I can't find it. Can someone post a link or tell me exactly how to search for it?
