Welcome to the group. It does take some time to get used to but you can do it. And don't feel you have to have a full face mask if you breathe through your mouth. I breathed through my mouth every night for 47 years, now I breathe through my nose. Imagine that. Hang in there.
Try this test. When you get your CPAP machine, on the first night pick a date two weeks in the future. Write down that date and put it in the drawer. Now use your CPAP every night, and I'd be willing to wager that by the time the date you wrote down rolls around you'll be sleeping through the night with your machine.
Good luck,

I believe its all in the mind. You can say I am thankfull I found out I have OSA, now I can sleep great, or you can say I am really dreading this, how will I ever sleep? You will get used to it, I sleep much better with it these days

Another thing that I noticed is that with my nasal mask on I automaticlly close my mouth....If you don't a bunch of air will rush out your mouth...It just kind of happens like a reflex for me...No I can even talk with the mask on....that takes a little more practice though LOL.
