Will I have to shave my beard?

I have a beard and use CPAP. When I was using most masks, I had to keep my beard trimmed to get a good seal.

HOWEVER, since I have been using the resmed airtouch F20 with the memory foam seal (as opposed to silicone), I have been able to grow my beard as long as I want and still get an excellent seal. So no more beard worries since using the airtouch.

I'm new to CPAP as well. But I have had very good luck with the Fisher & PayPal Simplus headgear with a medium cushion. And I probably have more facial hair than most of the people commenting. But It could just be luck. But maybe not. Just my experience.
