Did anyone try this?:

That may bring up the data. I haven't tried that myself, so I'd be interested to know if that works. This doesn't transfer the data permanently to the hard disk, of course.
What happens when this is tried? No go???

I have ResScan 3.7. I use a ResScan USB adapter/cable to directly transfer my data from the S8 Elite II machine to the computer. As I recall (not sure, as I was still foggy-brained back then), I had to install a driver in order for the USB cable to be recognized. And I seem to recall someone saying that the USB cable had to be plugged into the same slot every time. Anyway, maybe a driver needs to be installed in order for it to recognize the USB thumb?

You can move your patient folder to wherever you want to in the file system with XP, Vista or Windows 7, and this includes any visible network drives.

If you find the default ResScan patient file location in Vista difficult to manage for backup purposes, just move your patient folder to anywhere in your file system that is easy to get at, and set that location into ResScan using the Patient Manager option on the Tools menu.

Cheers,

Bill
