How do you post your picture in your profile?

I give up. I have been trying for 2 hours to load my picture into my profile. So I will ask for help. I do have a picture on my desktop.Now how do you post a picture?

Click on "PROFILE" along the top of the page. Then scroll down to upload avatar and click the browse button. Brown to your desk top and select the picture. There are maximum picture size and file size requirements, so you may need to use an image editor to edit the picture you have to meet the requirements.

wading thru the muck, I do not know how I can make it any smaller? (image editor ?) That is what is wrong I keep getting this error message-below

The avatar image file size must be less than 6 KB

I use photoshop elements, but if you don't have any photo editing software do a internet search for free photo editing software. I'm sure there are oodles of them. Often if you then select "save for web" it will be able to compress the image small enough.

th, Sleepless in LI, made mine smaller for me and then I saved it to my computer and then I uploaded my picture.

I am sure she would help you if you PM her.

Severeena, thanks. I think RG is going to help me. If not, maybe Lori might help me out ........I know everyone else has post their picture so it time for me to do the same

Lori, thanks lh (wife) is behind me (headless). I ask her to let me put her in the picture & she said "no way" I am trying to get her to post on cpaptalk since she is a CPAP user. I am having little luck with that
