This question has probably been answered before, so I apologize in advance. I have been a non-compliant patient, which I never thought I would be until got into some really bad habits. I know I need to be using my cpap, so I'm trying to get it ready for use again. Unfortunately, it's been a couple months since the last use, and the tank has been nearly impossible to get as clean as I need to. Has there been anything that you have found that works really well? Normally I have used the Ivory Classic detergent for every other day cleaning, and the distilled vinegar/water solution for 1x/week cleaning. Since it's been a while, I really want to get in that tank, but I haven't been able to. I was wondering what's the best product to use to get inside that tank!
I'm sorry this is so long, but I want to get myself back into good habits. I'm seeing some undesirable side effects from not using my cpap.
Thanks so much!

Re: cleaning the humidifier tank
I use a Resmed H3i integrated heated humidifier and to clean mine (which isn't very often) I just drop a PoliDent Denture Cleanser tablet into the tank, add hot water, shake really well, let it set until the water clear to white from the greenish color, shake it real well again, empty it, rinse w/hot water and vinegar/water mixture and set it aside to try. I'm the lazy type. I prefer to let the denture cleansing tablet do the work.

You know, I never thought about using PoliDent! That's a great idea.... actually I probably need to replace the cushion for the mask, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. What do you use on yours, if you have the UltraMirage ffm?

I don't. Have the Ultra Mirage FF mask nor clean the mask cushion all that often, that is. Just a quick wipe w/a damp cloth if I even think of it. However, when I first started "using" I did use baby shampoo to wash my mask. But then I tend to dry skin rather than oily skin.

Slinky,
Thanks so much for the information. I'm looking forward to getting back to having some good sleep. I've woken up during the night several times coughing and choking, and I think it's a pretty good indication that I need to be back on it. Plus, my ENT....I was diagnosed with acid reflux back in August, gave me a little nudge last month.
