Gumby has a theory that says - "Everyone IS good at something"!

For some it is re-designing forum structures

For others it may be saying - "It can't be done" while never knowing what "It" is!

Me - I'm still looking for a niche

How about the plankton the little fish eat on this food chain?

Qualifications? No, I just try not to comment when I am not qualified, though I am not always successful in keeping my mouth shut when I haven't the slightest idea what I am talking about.

But start talking math and I run and hide...talk about something else you know jules, please.

I don't believe that for a second, but okay then. If you must talk math, make it statistics and include illustrations. Oh and can you also make it metric? I am from Canada.

I hate statistics - all that lying and lying some more

metric I can do - paperweight we have

Metric Maxims

"The meter measures 3 foot 3 - it's longer than a yard you see.

A miss is as good at 1.6 kilometers

A pint is a pound the world around but a liter is a kilogram when you are in a metric jam.

I love you 35.2 liters and 8.8 liters.

First down and 9.1 meters to go.

Every 2.5 centimeters a king.

28.3 grams of prevention are worth .453 kilograms of cure.

Give him 2.5 centimeters and he will take 1609 meters.

More bounce to the 28.3 grams.

He demanded his .453 kilograms of flesh.

155 centimeters, eyes of blue

There were 3 statisticians that went deer hunting. They spotted a deer. The first one shot and missed it 5 ft to the right. The second one shot and missed it 5 ft on the left. The third hunter jumped up and down in glee yelling - WE GOT IT!!! WE GOT IT !!!

But the lying usually includes pictures and graphs.

Good point...but I usually round it off to 28 grams of prevention are worth .5 kilograms of cure.

But they did get it. You do so like statistics.

The hunters? That's because it's much like ResMed's reporting system on the LCD screen: distorts the facts in one way or another. The LCD screen reports medians unlike the hunter who reported the mean.

Not on the LCD, or not mine anyway. The software reports medians, 95%iles, & maxiums for leaks and pressure, which is more helpful. Going by the medians on my LCD screen was not useful, because my median leak rate did not equal the mean. I don't even look at that LCD anymore, because like you said "all that lying and lying some more."
