If that's not the proverbial goose that laid the golden egg... then it's surely the rooster who laid a green cupcake.

Sounds like another dedicated topic category to me...

PS Should we have a topic category for doppelgängers? I'm thinking probably...

I don't know, I think we might need another round of popcorn - with pecorino romano, of course.
I just don't think I'll ever be able to adjust to this internet thingy never mind cpapcorn.

Unfortunately, she's got a little rash on her doppelgänger, so she'll be out of circulation till it clears up.

That phrase only serves to remind us that there's a Buddha and an anti-Buddha... Or was it Ben Franklin who coined that flip-phrase? Oh yeah!
"All things without moderation."
Anyway, as I was saying, that phrase nicely points out that there's a Ben Franklin and an anti Ben Franklin...
Sorry about my getting that quote wrong. And thanks for pointing it out. Unless my memory fails me, I believe what Buddha and Franklin actually said, depending on the translation, was: "All things without moderators."

I think they co-authored that on an unmoderated message board last year...

Ironically it's a message board that doesn't observe Buddhism or daylight savings time.

Yes.. My understanding is that Buddhists love to save time by skipping at least 50 reincarnations.

Either that or an overpriced hot dog:
A Buddhist monk, visiting New York City for the first time in twenty years, walked up to a hot dog vendor, handed him a twenty dollar bill, and said, “Make me one with everything.”

The vendor pocketed the money, and handed the Buddhist monk his hot dog. The monk, after waiting for a moment, asked for his change. The vendor looked at him and said, “Change comes from within.” With a wistful smile, the monk walked away.

From what I can tell God Speed seems to resolve to 69.13.237.156.
