Sleep test costs
Re: Sleep test costs
I just had a bi-level re-titration in January. This independent sleep lab billed Medicare $2000. Medicare allowed $777.51 and my secondary insurance paid the $155.50.

Re: Sleep test costs
My husband just received the insurance denial for the cost of his sleep study. The providers who did his study changed a total of $16,890. We just about fell over. This sleep study was genuinely low monitored, slept in a room 4x8 with a bed attached to the wall vertically. He had to get into the room, close the door and pull the bed down.( Just for the rental of the room they charged $9700.00 That is why I am currently checking out the prices in general for a sleep study.` No one has come remotely close to the charges he has incurred. All of you consider yourself very lucky...( I thought the cost of procedures were going to go down due to our government....to benefit from "Obama Care" I guess being an American, born and raised, American Indian, and speak English puts you in another category....the one that pays for everyone else.
