These photos are box brownie ones AFAIK. My wife scanned them from a page out of my Mother's original photo album. I then used Irfan view to resize (Irfanview freeware is the best I have found for producing clean smaller than 4 k files of gif images used for avatars).

Kids of tomorrow may have problems when it comes to childhood photos...

Year 2050 "Hey, how do I read this thing called a see dee ? - it was in gramps possessions & says family baby photos on it"

I cannot believe you said that! When we were young kids, my parents belonged to a beach club every summer. They used to call me "Little Elizabeth Taylor," there, I swear!!! Thanks for saying and and thanks for reminding me! Maybe it was the jet black hair, which I wish I still could wear (doesn't look good on us old women, you know-too hard a look). So what happened???

PS: Clif, those are some squeezable cheeks you got there. They will be our feature photo in the updated "yearbook" this Friday. Thanks for the exclusive.

I used my scanner so little that I mothballed it when I went to using Mac and a 12 inch laptop. I may have to dig it out and see if it is even compatible with Mac.

The naked butt pictures, of which I have several would land us in jail in this day and age as child perverts. Even posting it is against the law now. I guess I am one as I think they are cute.

Please don't tell me that that cute little baby butt is against the law, or posting it on this site. If that is what our world has come to, I give up. Who wouldn't think it's adorable? I think if you start going off in another direction with thoughts in your head, that is a bit scary. But I hate to think that the world has come down to looking at the posting of that photo here as against the law. What a sad commentary that would be...

The way the law reads now, downloading or sending email containing any minor child where the genitals show is child porn. I think it's rediculous and an shame as well. Nothing cuter than when my son would escape after a bath and running squealing around the house.

I don't know if cute cheeks like those would be considered "genitals," actually. I hope not. They still show them on television for diaper commercials. I don't think they're breaking the law, unless they're showing them on the Playboy Channel and the cheeks are 22-years-old .

That photo was absolutely adorable and totally not offensive in any way. How could it be??? Now, if you were to put one up like that at your present age, some might argue the point. And, then again, we'd have others who probably wouldn't .

Please don't take it down. I'm putting it in the updated yearbook tomorrow, unless you tell me not to.

Darn! The only photo in this thread I've been able to see is Grabaham's Santa shot. For 2 days all I've seen of the others is the infamous red X .
