Whoops!!! That negative nellie was me.

A nose (or mouth) full of water is great incentive to buy the heated hose. You will never regret your decision and you'll be sorry you didn't do it sooner! Honest!!

Ditto.

I just received my heated hose yesterday and enjoyed my first night with it last night. What an AMAZING product! I have been on CPAP for 7 months now and have struggled with wanting a lot of humidification for my stuffed nose and the rainout it had caused. Last night I put the heated humidifier on 5, and did not suffer any rainout at all. In fact, I ran out of water sometime during the night and still enjoyed heated air versus the cold air I used to get! I will be reccommedning this product to everyone I know on CPAP.

This was very funny (sort of). I ordered a heated hose yesterday. Tonight (it must be tomorrow in Australia) I got a voice mail from a Don Fisher saying (I think) that he had shipped my order but that the e-mail I had given was bouncing. In the 20-second message he said 'mate' at least 6 times and spoke with a perfect Crocodile Dundee accent. I will have to hire an interpreter to decipher the rest of his message.

I wish my DME supplier had the customer service these guys exhibit. Imagine having your DME call you across the globe just to reassure you that you order had shipped. In my dreams!

G'nite mate!

Probably not, since you need a 1000 amp output, and the right connector. All my old DC apdaptors only go up to 300 amp - and none had the right connector.

O.
1000 amps!!! Holy cow....

I hope you mean 1000 Ma (milliamps)

Yes, definitely! I had the entire barrel fill with water. The gurgling was distrubing my sleep, but I didn't quite wake up until I shifted and snorted a nose-full of water!!!

Extremely unpleasant and startling way to wake up. I thought I was drowning. That was my first night. After that I had the humidifier turned down, but then it was too dry. Finally I bought a heated hose, turned up the humidifier, and have been sleeping more soundly and much less restless. My wife reports she hasn't ever seen me sleep like this in 23+ years of marriage!
