Anniversary : )
Wow, 2 years have passed quickly, but I do recall the date, as it made such an impact in my life.
Just the other night I asked my teen son "do you think this mask has made a difference??" and he
gave me a resounding YES. Says all those years my snoring would nearly shake the walls, and I
was always tired, and sometimes its easy to forget now, and so glad 'Air' is my simple presciription : )
Wanted to give a 'shout out' to all those who have supported me along the journey, and hope to offer
some inspiration to those just being introduced to therapy. It works!

Re: Anniversary : )
A chronic insomniac (situation addressed), severe sleep apnea (situation addressed), I literally was
the 'walking dead' in my 30's. I had no idea what it was like to sleep, fitfully, peacefully, and always
dreaded heading to bed, as I knew I'd be up most of the night watching the clock tick on. It took a
drive home from work when I realized I was dozing at the wheel to wake me up. You would think as
a family full of CPAP users (father, mother, brother), I wouldnt be in denial, but I certainly was.
Sure, I snore, sure I'm tired, but I didnt need CPAP. My first night of sleep study was awful, and I walked
out around 4am frustrated, as you cannot compile data with a patient who doesnt sleep. I went back,
reluctantly...one more time with an RX for ambien, and slept, 2 or 3 hours, long enough for the test, and grateful I did (now).
Now, I look forward to bed, know my therapy will allow me to sleep, a long LONG yearning my body needed. Although
I'm not a heavy sleeper still, I sleep, and that in itself is a gift, and helps me funtion sharper the next day, rested.

I wasn't aware Photobucket would expire image codes I'd used if I didn't visit their site. (I see that's the reason listed on your avatar we can no longer see.) So, I went to photobucket to keep it active but more importantly to get you an anniversary/birthday cake : ))
