2 people in a full? OMG, it's just me and my hose and a gazillion pillows in a queen bed (used to have cats too but they've all passed). I've slept on Posturpedics since 1978 and love 'em. Have had a 2" Isotonic (no formaldehyde outgassing) memory foam topper on top to ease aches & pains for the past 3 (4?) yrs.

Many years ago (very Pre-OSA) my wife and I bought a Select Comfort Cal-King mattress. We both love it because we can set the firmness level of our sides of the mattress to our preference. Some nights I like it firmer and some softer so being able to change it when I like is a big plus. Since being diagnose with OSA it has been great since I can set the firmness for comfort with a mask.

LOL! I agree with Fadedgirl and Muse-Inc!!! Get rid of that full size and get yourself a KING!! I can't imagine the 2 of you in a full size bed. Even my skinny 20 year old kids have Queen Sized beds--LOL! Cal King is a few inches longer than the KING. The King is wider but not as long. Remove a night stand or switch bedrooms but yeah---get yourself a bigger bed. You sleep 7 or 8 hours a night--you deserve to have some comfort while spending that much time.

I myself am looking at the Tempurpedic but we may look at Pillow tops and buy a 4 inch tempurpedic topper --have not decided yet. it will be a KING or Cal King--nothing smaller.

Good luck on your search,
Carrie

Any ideas as to which mattress topper is the best for not "off-gasing"?? I need a new one and DO NOT want to experience the awful smell and the potential health hazards. Thanks- GG

There are toppers at Costco that you can get. The poster above has a website listed but those are made of latex. I have a Latex allergy so those would not be good for people that are allergic to Latex! I bought the topper from Costco--it did smell a bit but we unfolded it in a spare bedroom and left the window open for it to air out for a few days---then no problems of smell after that. Good Luck!! Oh and Kohl's has them on sale right now--1/2 price.

Queen-sized Tempur-Pedic ... one of the ones that's mostly firm with a thin top layer that's softer. Expensive, but we've had it 4 years now and every time I go to bed, I'm glad we spent the money.

Do you know what you want it made of?

There is natural rubber, cotton, horse hair, wool, etc. I have a couple from:

http://www.holylamborganics.com/

and can attest to their quality & comfort, but if you are seeking something more springy & dense, look into the natural rubber/latex toppers. Try:

http://www.savvyrest.com/

You can learn from that site as to how those items are cultivated from nature & subsequently manufactured. Actually, you can learn a lot from that site pertaining to how most mattresses are manufactured and the nasty chemicals they make them with, many of which are illegal for use in mattresses/bedding in other civilized countries.
