Bibs, you got a free breakfast????????? 3 times they get to watch me sleep, and 3 times I get sent home hungry..

Mysteryism..really, there is nothing to be scared about. Once they get you hooked up, you fall asleep, you wake up and you go home.

OK, time to share.

On my second visit, for the titration phase, I didn't want to bother the technicians so used their little gadget to wee wee....
Guess what - second time I missed and you can image what transpired after-wards. When I got home and told my wife, she almost died from laughing

I understand how you feel, but trust me, if I can get through it, anybody can! I'm physically disabled and barely (and I do mean barely) walking. My husband stayed with me until I was in my jammies and had pottied all I was going to before he left me. And he was there the moment I woke up to help me up, to the bathroom and get dressed.

Being out of my regular element is very difficult and stressful for me. And I did just fine.

Try to relax and take the suggestions that you've gotten. It will definitely help.

Youll be fine. I have pulmonary/breathing problems which have much improved so they even let me do the study in a recliner.

"Little gadget"?! No one offered me a little gadget. Most sleep studies are videotaped...you know that, right?!

I was quite afraid of the ones I had too. In fact, I would get so nervous that I couldn't sleep! My doctor finally said I could use xanax before it, and that gave me about 5-6 hours of sleep for the test.
Try to view the test as something that could give you a new life. Try not to view it as some torture that's being done to you. Its a choice you make to find out if there's something that can help you feel better. Whenever I'm going through some scary procedure, I try to think about what neat thing I'm going to do right after it.
Good luck to you!

Yes, I know the entire room was wired - it was tucked under the sheets.
But apparently these accidents occur often as technician came in right away, wasn't upset, just said go to bathroom to change and when I returned, the entire bed was remade with fresh sheets, blankets, etc....
