Does anyone have knowledge of this topic? I have 1 daughter now, but am unable to have anymore because I have 0 sperm count. I sought medical help a couple years ago, and the final diagnosis was basically unexplained 0 sperm count. Now I'm into my 4-5th week or so of CPAP therapy, and I'm feeling much better, and more "frisky". So is there a connection betweeen OSA and 0 sperm count? Is there hope that the fact that I had 0 REM and 0 SLS for who knows how long, may have caused this? And that now I'm in treatment perhaps I could father another child? Thanks for any info.

Re: OSA and Zero Sperm Count
I'm not aware of any studies about this subject but my own experience would seem to be the opposite. My wife and I went through a fertility study about two years ago, long after I started having sleep issues but before I was officially diagnosed. My sperm count was "unusually high" with over 95% motility (is that the right word for "active and swimming in the correct direction"?).
As for feeling more "frisky", much to my wife's chagrin, even if I'm dead tired I've got the drive of an 18 year old (I'm 36, she's 40).
Maybe I'm just weird...

The only way I got my sperm count DOWN after being WAY to successful WAY too soon getting my two kids was to get a vasectomy. Apnea certainly didn't seem to factor in.
Apnea DOES TEND to decrease libido. Thats how I found out I actually am running high on testosterone level, even with apnea.
CPAP can bring up libido which might help you out. Maybe in some cases it MIGHT affect sperm count, but no one seems to be backing up that view yet anyway.
CPAP certainly can't hurt in your efforts!
