What's the pressure range on your Auto?

I suspect that you have an M Series Auto. If so, your profile is incorrect......it's showing the older (pre-M) Legacy model Auto.

I'm not sure if I'm looking at the machine right, but it says the pressure is at 5.0. My machine is three years old, so I don't know if that would affect the data. I did put in a brand new smart card last night before I went to bed. I may be reading the data wrong too, who knows. But any help would be of greatly appreciated.

What is the exact name on the top of your machine?

Does it look like this one?

https://www.cpap.com/viewImage.php?Bund ... lex-hh.jpg

Or......this one?

https://www.cpap.com/viewImage.php?Bund ... ex_top.jpg

I'm guessing the first one......if you're getting the numbers off of the LCD screen. If you've got the software and are downloading the data from the card, it could be either one.

The "5.0" could be where the Ramp pressure starts or it could be where your minimum pressure starts.
If you can verify which machine you have, I'll post the instructions for you to get into the machine so you can check ALL the settings.

Mine is more like the first one, except it's a "C" flex.
RemStar Auto M series C-flex w/humidifier. That's what's on the front of my machine, if that helps any.

Here are the instructions for getting into the Setup information/configuration for your machine.
It would be a good idea if you'd write down all of the settings in your machine so you'll know exactly how it's configured.
If you post them here, we can then take a look and see what's what.

If I do all of this, will it mess up the settings that are already on my machine??? I really am nervous about doing this, I don't want to lose any of my settings.

Nope. All you need to do at this point is just use the arrow buttons to go through the different categories. As long as you don't hit the plus or minus buttons while you're in the menu options, it won't change any settings. But, even if you did, you could just hit the opposite button to go back to the previous setting.
Once you write down what the existing settings are, then you will have a reference point to return to if you should happen to change something in the future.

This really isn't "rocket science". It's much easier than programming other electronic items.
Once you go through the settings a time or two, you'll see how easy it is.

Sounds good! I'll try it this weekend, maybe, right now I'm dealing with mild pancreatitis, due to some medication I was on when I had my cold. So, I'm just in a bit in pain at the moment, but I'll try my best to see if I can do this. Thanks so much for all of your help, and I promise I'll get this information as soon as I can.

Then you will want to change your equipment profile to one that shows a picture like the following:

It's the SECOND in the list of machines that start with "M Series". That will help others as they answer your questions.

John, if you look at the bottom of my post's, you'll see that I have in "Text" my machine, mask, humidifier, and software. I didn't use the pictures, as I was told not to use the pictures, but the text instead, because it was easier for people to read it than see the pictures. Sorry if there was any confusion.

Judy,
What they're saying is that the machine in your profile isn't the M series... it's the classic/tank version. Your humidifer is the M series though. So in other words seeing as they don't match they wouldn't work together.

Then, maybe certain people shouldn't tell everyone to use the "TEXT"! Instead maybe they should let each individual make their own profile choices. Then maybe there wouldn't be this type of confusion!

Judy, we did not mean to make you angry and/or frustrated. Instead we were trying to help avoid possible confusion. If you have an old style system posted people might offer suggestions based on the old unit. You would go look at your unit and wonder what planet we were from, because the directions we provided just would not match your unit.

The suggestion to use text instead of pictures was also intended to make it easier to someone to just read the text description of your unit, instead of clicking through to find out which variant you might have.

But through all these suggestions we only want to help. My apologies if it made you frustrated / angry. That was certainly not my intent - nor of anyone else who is replying to your posts.

Hopefully you will journey will continue to go well and you will find lots of benefit from both this forum and your therapy. Best wishes!
