CPAP Public Relations

Post by snork1 » Wed Sep 28, 2005 5:08 pm

Either I missed the post, or everyone is too embarassed to admit they saw it.
MY excuse is that I was working on my computer when I caught a segment on TV that my wife touched on for a moment while channel surfing on one of those "evening entertainment" type shows. "Access" or something like that.

Whats that, I thought, as my attention was jerked up to the sight of a CPAP being shown and refered to in context of movie stars?!
I am not sure who the "former star of...." was but she refered to "that breathing machine should be called a marriage saver." And they flashed a short clip of her hubby sitting up and slipping on a Breeze that was hooked up to a Remstar. (no humidifier, I also noticed).

Anyway, thats my story of how I happened to see it, and I'll stick to it.

I thought it was VERY COOL that it was given that much focus to SHOW it, and then put in such a positive light to have a "person of former fame" call it a "marriage saver."

No one else caught it? Everyone must have been spending their time much more productively.
