DSM: I heard that in your country, if you refuse to admit that global warming is man-caused, you lose your citizenship. And of course, they hagve already taken all your guns.

LinkC: For some reason the cats seem to like the stringier meat better. Perhaps it is because their teeth are designed to deal with it. Humans though, by typical plains game standards, are exquisitely tender. As far as the controlled substances go, thats another issue......

Muse-Inc, I also believe that part of our warming trend is man-caused. But external factors we cannot control cause most of it. Getting more energy conscious, though is a great idea, and our Government should be leading the way in research. (Which it isn't. It is too busy doing asinine things like banning incandescent light bulbs.) We just don't need the extreme programs being pushed by the tasty Greens.....

Gerry, I finally have HF antennas back up after a 10 year hiatus (40 and 20 meters, to start). Getting ready to start using digital modes. First PSK-31 test is tonight! Bands are indeed pretty quiet. de NS9E

PST: At least cows are edible, and the leather they make is one of the most useful and durable elastomers known to man.

It was sunny and fairly warm here in Denver today. So far it's been a really cold winter but we've had a few nice days to balance out the artic blasts!

Most people think that humans hold the controls to the climate thermostat or they can't reach it, but it is more like a kid that played with matches, one doesn't do much but drop one on some rags and the house is on fire and totally out of your control.

LOL !

Yup

No guns & we get torn apart if we question the issue of CO2 being evil & man is guilty for it.

The really funny part about guns in Australia, is that when I was living here at age 13, I went into a city gun store
bought a .22 rifle & carry bag, a box of .22 ammo & hopped on a city train out to a northern suburb called Hornsby
& wandered into the bush to shoot at anything that did or didn't move. Later in the airforce was considered a
good shot. But my father always had guns around the home for as early as I could remember. I recall him taking
me rabbit shooting at age 4 my brother was 6. Bother actually got to shoot dad's shotgun (with a lot of assistance
from dad).

Today, it seems as if I carried a broomstick wrapped up to vaguely resemble a gun I'd be on my face on the ground
with hands held behind my back very quickly. The people who freely carry guns in Australia are the criminals and
the police. There are times when we can't tell the difference between either.

Around the middle-end of last week, it got down to -25 for a couple of nights, but shortly after it's gotten up to the 20's (above) at night and daytime temps around +40. All is well in my corner of the world.

Since the ice caps are melting , you'd better keep that cold up there where it belongs.

Stay warm, my friend.
