Have been on CPAP since January 2005. Have an autopap and like it very much. I have been periodically changing my settings trying to get the best range. Have done pretty well on 7.5 to 13. Caught a thread lately about checking to see where your hypop are and adjusting a little bit higher that that. I did that last night and have had my first full night sleep in it seems like forever. Put the bottom number up to 8 and slept from 10:00 until 5:00---there may be hope for me yet.

It sounds like you are starting to get a handle on your situation. Reading between the lines it is obvious that you have an APAP and software. With this type of combination it is possible for us to take control of our treatment and get the best results that are possible.
Don't get too hung up on the specific numbers; for example the difference between a 4.8AHI and a 5.4AHI is nothing.
I hope you have continued success.
