Medical Equipment Tag

Post by Ruby Vee » Thu Jan 07, 2010 3:20 pm

Someone here posted a link to a printable medical equipment tag to attach to the CPAP case for air travel. I saved it to my computer, planning to print it out when I needed to travel. But then someone stole my computer, so I no longer have the tag. Could someone please post that link again? I can't seem to find it by searching.

Thank you very much!

Thank You so much for posting that Link! I've printed off several copies and have it saved to my computer. I too was wondering where to get one of these. Thanks for taking a big load off of my mind.

Thanks for the quick reply! I knew I could count on you guys!

Someone broke into our house by smashing the back door ($1500 to repair it) and stole both my laptop and my husband's, our iPods, our cameras including the brand new one that I had just gotten for Christmas and all of my jewelry. They took my grandmother's engagement ring, all of my mother's jewelry that she gave me so that no one would steal it from her when she went to assisted living, and several nice pieces that my husband had given me over the years. I know I'm lucky they didn't hurt the dog, and that he was still there when we got home, but damn I feel violated!

Backups of data and documents are a GOOD thing. I like to use both an external USB hard drive and an on-line backup service (I use Ubuntu One, which is for Ubuntu Linux computers). The external hard drive is fast and convenient and the online backup is off-site, which is good in case of theft or fire.

In case anyone is printing in color you will want to choose the Blue Star version. If B&W it won't matter.

Paul,

It seems in all my editing, re-editing, modifying, pulling, tugging, proding and pokeing, I let the scale go kerflooey. The files have been redone and are now correctly scaled to business-card size in each panel so that when cut and folded they should fit perfectly - DO NOT SCALE when printing or otherwise converting.

I'm thinking that using the verbiage and/or style of an item OUR HOST has for sale would be a bit tacky, at best. And copyright infringement, at worst.

I'd stick with one offered freely to the public for use.

I'll bite.... WHY is the blue star more desirable? (It's the one I used, but isn't the color just a matter of preference?)

The one I printed is a bit larger than a business card. Guess I got the mis-scaled version. I laminated it myself.

Hey Gang.......

Johnny makes a living selling these tags, and pays for this very forum where we enjoy posting. Granted, the tags are probably a very small portion of his business........

I think it's a little disrespectful for us to be passing around links to avoid buying his product. It reminds me of the person who stands at a craft booth, copying all of the person's ideas rather than buying the product.

Let's all be a little cognizant of this.......it's a matter of respect.

thank you
