I, for one, have not ALWAYS been a happy person. There were many years that were miserable, believe me. I had to learn to cultivate an optimistic attitude, as it wasn't a life skill I learned growing up. Fortunately, my husband and I both have a sense of humor. Without that, we probably wouldn't still be married. He's a good guy, and he puts up with me. You know I honestly don't know if I could ever even date again. After nine years of the physical and emotional abuse, I am not so sure I even believe in love. I think it could be different had I ever dated anyone other than my STBX. Then I would know that it wasn't always bad. But now I am in a ridiculous position where I am scared to death to even talk to a man. I keep saying no when my friends try to set me up I am considering joining a conventDreamOn wrote:I, for one, have not ALWAYS been a happy person. OR, he's vacationing in a place where there's snow. It looks like Colorado or the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California, doesn't it? Hmmm....where does PST live? Does PST stand for "Pacific Standard Time" perhaps?SleepingUgly wrote:He lives in the mountains, where there is snow.

One can have a very rich and satisfying life without a romantic, committed relationship. Surround yourself with caring friends and family. Abuse takes away so much of who you are. Use this time for self-discovery and enjoy your youth. This is your time to heal and become whole.Jaylee wrote:You know I honestly don't know if I could ever even date again. Well, yes, now that I think about it, there are A LOT of places that have snow and mountains, aren't there? I guess we'll just have to rely on PST to spill the beans on his location....Ms.Snuffleupagus wrote:Hey there's lots of snow and lots of mountains here in Quebec.SleepingUgly wrote:He lives in the mountains, where there is snow.
The women are swarming, PST.

Was that where that grump said "loose women tightened here"?BleepingBeauty wrote:Funny you should mention that, DreamOn. It was a topic of conversation in the chatroom very recently. Got me thinking.DreamOn wrote:PST wrote:Not everyone. I mostly come here to meet girls.![]()
And I would think this could be a good place for singles to meet. You already have at least one thing in common -- sleep apnea.
I'm happily married myself, but for any single ladies who may be interested -- what part of the country do you live in, PST?
So yes, PST, where are you?

I have no doubt, how I sleep affects every waking moment.
I am making progress-NOW I remember that I can't remember

If this isn’t rocket science why are there so many spaceshots?

I didn't expect to come back to this. My cheeks are red. Actually, I'm married too, but after reading these replies, I think maybe when I pull on my mask tonight, I'll dream that those mountains are in Utah, the polygamy state (apologies in advance).BleepingBeauty wrote:Funny you should mention that, DreamOn. I'm from flat old Chicago, where we can usually manage some snow, but there isn't a decent hill in the whole state. The picture is just one I like because it seems like such a silly place to be carrying a briefcase, but there's no telling with lawyers.

Sorry to have participated in your moment, but be sure to tell your wife we all say "Hi!"
Veni, vidi, Velcro. I came, I saw, I stuck around.
Dx 11/07: AHI 107, central apnea, Cheyne Stokes respiration, moderate-severe O2 desats. (Simple OSA would be too easy.

I didn't intend to embarrass you, and I apologize (to all) for getting a bit carried away. And sorry about that, Mrs. PST. We were just having some innocent fun here. I think.

Hi All
First of all I had better get straight the foes listing.
If you list someone as a foe, you can still see their name on the thread where their post is, but not the post. But you can see the post if you click on it - eg -
I used to use the foes list a lot. If anyone slighted me, disrespected me, disagreed with me, lied to me, used words I couldn't understand, laughed when I wasn't being funny, those who didn't take my advice, those who said my advice was wrong, and, of course, there were those who were downright nasty, then they all went on the foes list.
I could get through a days postings in about 2 minutes!
Then I got a PM from Johnny, who told me that they did not have unlimited hard drive space, and could I please work at being less sensitive. And I must admit, the Forum wasn't fun anymore.
Still, I might offer Johnny a couple of my spare hard drives, remembering everybody is such a hassle

I bet you did, Mars.

Yep, if you (that's a generic you, Mars, not you in person) prefer excell charts to soap opera, why bother with the hassle of a forum?
