Here is a longtime user's suggestion about mask removal when you need to get out of bed. My current and favorite mask is the ResMed Activa, which has a very convenient press to release connector that connects the hose to the mask. IfI need to get up, I just press the hose release on the face of the mask and then I can walk away free from the hose, and the mask does not need any readjustment or repositioning.

My full face mask leaks also if I take if off for some reason then put it right back on. I learned to turn the machine off for a second, put the mask on, then turn machine back on. Works everytime. But if I try to put the mask back on while the machine is still on, it leaks, and I fight with it for ever. Lots of good ideas on here though. Hope you find one that works!

This is especially true for when I use the Quattro. The seal depends on fluffing out the thin plastic of the cushion. However, sometimes I can put the machine on ramp which blows less pressure, pull the mask off a bit to billow the cushion, and put it back just where I want it and get a really good seal. I'm thankful I rarely have to wear it as I prefer nasal pillows.
