Disconcerting Data

Post by JockLitt » Wed Dec 23, 2009 2:05 pm

I've been using a pulse oximeter for the last 3 - 4 months now, and have noticed that, infrequently, there is a sudden blip where my pulse goes from +- 65 to +130, with a corresponding dip in my oxygen saturation. Although not believing this to be normal, I put it down to an apnea. This week I started using the Rescan software and last night, actually, at 06h24, my pulse went from around 65 to 128 with a corresponding drop in saturation from 98 to 86. The Rescan sofware recorded no events at that time.
Any ideas what's going on?
I've tried uploading the data from Photobucket with no joy

My ResScan software seems to be about 40 minutes out of sync on the Detailed Report. It's correct on the Summary Report.

Are you checking the start time of your oximeter, and cpap, and is there some way to synchronize them?
