It's Friday again!!!!

Post by yawn » Fri Sep 23, 2005 7:17 am

Good morning.
I don't have alot of time so I'll make this quick. I'm not exactly sure how I did weight wise this week but I'm not worried about the lbs as much as I am eating healthy and exercising.

I had a lot of stomach trouble this week so I couldn't eat the way I wanted to. I also had to cut back on the exercising a little but I did what I could and I'm satisfied with that. Yesterday, my scale said I lost 5 lbs. Today it said I gained 5 lbs (that's 10 lb span in 2 days??? I don't think so). I got on the scale for a 2nd time and it seems to be hovering around where it was last week. Did I lose anything???? I really don't know...my official weigh-in is still 2 weeks away. I did do my work-out this morning and I turned up the intensity...burned a few extra calories. Hopefully my stomach will settle down and I can return to eating fruits & veggies.

How did your week go???

Amy

I had a 2 pound loss this week. Feeling good about it too.

I'm down 3 lbs this week...to 161. That's 3 of the 4 lbs I put on last week in Chicago. Not too shabby. I'll be happy at 145 (only 16 more lbs to go.....and I'm down from 170 about 4 weeks ago yeeyaw!!) and really happy at 140. I "tweaked" myself out of good treatment 4 nights ago....wanted to see how low I could go on the pressures for my 420E and still have effective treatment. BAD MOVE! LOL But last night, got it back up to where it needs to be....and will stay, needless to say.

I like this Friday reporting. Great idea.

I am down 3 lbs this week, but it seems as though i have been fighting with those same lbs for the last couple of weeks. Could just be "water" weight. I really only have about 10 lbs to loose, but they seem to be the most difficult. My body really seems to like life at 140,

Good morning. I just drank a bunch of water, so weighing wouldn't be very accurate (I will weigh-in tomorrow instead I think) but I've done OK this week eating wise...don't feel like I've lost weight, but we'll see. I ate carrots instead of chocolate cake last night!! I just said I wasn't wanting the cake as much as I want to lose weight...sometimes that tactic doesn't work though

I'm sorry you couldn't eat the way you wanted Amy, tings will probably calm down...

Cajun..3 POUNDS! 16 to go...I have a bit more than that

Linda..2 POUNDS! Everyone here is doing great

Down 3 pounds this week, which seems to be the magic number for most everyone. .

LOL...you're right I do but the type I want is more than I can afford. Every scale I have ever owned has been lousy. I think the best ones are the ones they have in the doctor's offices.

Yeah!!!! Lots of good news from everybody. Well, not from everybody...there are still some folks that haven't posted yet. Please let us know how your week went. If it went well, we'll cheer. If it didn't go the way you wanted, we'll offer our support. We're in this together.

Isn't it just the best feeling to lose weight? What I love is that I'm gaining control over myself. I've put on weight because I gave up control...now I'm taking it back and taking it off.

For those that don't have a lot to lose, it will definitely be harder for you. Those last 10 lbs. just don't want to give up the battle. Hang in there!!! You will win if you just persevere.

Congratulations everybody!!!

Amy

I don't know how to gauge this since I got a new scale. It said I weigh SO MUCH more than my old one. Where I only wanted to lose another 9 lbs., now I need to lose like 20. But I lost on this scale 1 1/2 lbs. this week, so I'll take it. BUT...I had put on, I think, about 4 lbs. prior to this week due to "particular" timing. I am still in the midst, but I'll take the 1 1/2 lbs. down since yesterday. Next Friday, I hope to be able to post a better weight loss.

Guys, you all did incredible. I hope to join you next week. I am still behaving, but this new scale, and timing, has got me a bit discouraged. But I can't stop doing what I'm doing, so we'll see next Friday. Congratulations to you all who lost this week and also those who stuck to their plans but didn't lose.

Amy, yes, you need a new scale.

Congratulations to all of you!

I dropped 1 pound.

I'm doing well in the area of discipline in eating well (healthy) and have started getting eight hours sleep, which cuts back appetite.

BUT .......... as for exercise I've been hopeless ..............I've been very busy but I know that's no excuse. Next week I will post my exercise achievements.

Thanks for this group. I could be paying a lot of money for exactly the same service.

Congratulations to all of you !!! You are inspiring me! I am starting (of course this is not the first start, more like the one hundred and first) as of today to try and eat better and lose some of my excess poundage!

We'll see what next week brings!

Nan,

Good luck this 101st time. Isn't it nice that as long as there is breath left, you are given yet another chance to succeed? Perhaps with all the support of these wonderful people behind you, there won't be a need for a 102nd attempt. See you next Friday .

I'd like to join the group. You look to be having a lot of fun for a weight-loss club. See you next Friday/Saturday.
