Intellipap Smartlink Software and Windows 7

Post by yellowecho » Thu Dec 17, 2009 6:48 pm

Having upgraded from Vista to Windows 7, I am unable to get the Smartlink Desktop software to run. I get an error message "could not find the main class org/java/plugin/boot/Boot". I do have the latest version of Java installed. Anyone know how to fix this?

Not that familiar with Windows 7.

Do other applications that need Java work well? At what point in the startup do you see this error message?

We have a new version of the SmartLink software (1.6.40) that is compatible with Windows 7. If you forward me your home address, I will be happy to send you a copy. Please note, you will need to uninstall the old version of the SmartLink software and then install version 1.6.40.

Thanks
