Hi All
I thought I would try to sleep with an incline type pillow to lessen the acid reflux during the night. So I fixed up an old meditation cushion/support, and got a gradual angle from my waist upwards.
I sleep OK but my AHi is now hitting above 5, instead of the low 2's.
Has anybody any idea as to what is going on?
Or could share their experience using an incline to sleep on.
I am thinking of going back to the prone position. I sleep on my left side, so that should help. But with having Barretts Esophagus, I want to minimise the reflux as much as possible.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Mars

Re: GERD-Sleeping with Incline Pillow - Need Help Please
I raised the bed itself on the headboard side instead of the pillows and it works better for me.I have two beds one raised one not raise and get better numbers with my raised bed but I had gotten use to it before i started on cpap.

Hi potholerepairman
Thanks for posting. How I elevate works well, just the numbers are not good.
Its interesting to hear that you get better numbers with a raised bed, that is encouraging.
cheers
