The other CPAP/Apnea forums that categorize their subjects have turned into ghost towns. They're also highly moderated and restrict the flow of information to those who seek it (like machine settings).

The way this one is, you can read what you want and skip whatever you don't want to read, too.

I can only add that CPAP is a process where every element is interrelated to some degree. For example, in a category about masks you could easily end up talking about machines and how they interract differently with different masks. Insurance and costs affect all the decisions and will end up in every discussion usually sooner rather than later.

I would agree to having a category for all posts wanting the forum to be divided up into categories.

I have a vision that we will figure out an easy way to ensure that children develop wide, deep, healthy and attractive jaws and then obstructive sleep apnea becomes an obscure bit of history.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ycw4uaX ... re=related

Jeff, I'm glad you mentioned that as an important feature of this forum. I remember the first few times I posted here and the sigh of relief I felt when I received such prompt replies and a friendly welcome . As someone who never belonged to a forum before and isn't too computer savvy, I was quickly able to navigate here pretty quickly and I don't think I've missed much along the way. Don't mess with my forum!

I love that it's open- a lot of other forums I visit have many categories that aren't even used.

I love the idea for an extra slot for backup masks...

I vote to keep it as simple as possible. As they say in the biz, "Less is more".

We can all personalize our own info, and offer more detail, if we're feeling like it would be a good addition.

since Johnny I hope will read this - lets have a REAL REAL REAL chat room that WORKS WORKS WORKS and if we report problems, can we find someone who will really FIX them rather than the problems last for months and months -- guess you know why I don't go there anymore
