Again, if I have offended anybody by posting this, I am truly sorry. I just feel like I need to do something for this family and prayer is not something I feel comfortable doing. So many of you seem to be religious and I think this family could really use your support.
Thank you...Amy

Amy,

Your humanity and caring will never offend me ! - I am glad there are people in the world that do care and have the courage to ask others if they wish to help.
This forum is a support group and IMHO this fits well within the intention of a support group even if off to one side of the basis for the group.

Cheers

My Mom lived a couple of healthy years beyond that time, getting to know Him better while on this earth with a different perspective than she had for her first 80+. When she went home to the Lord she was just plain ready to go. That was over 8 yrs ago. Even though we had rough times when I was a child, as an adult she and I were best friends. I still feel like picking up that phone sometimes wishing I could hear her voice! I know its just a short time before we'll have eternity together and be celebrating in heaven.
All you who have parents still on this earth, cherish them while you can. Love, Terry
