CPAP.COM Sizing Guide

Post by desert rider » Mon Nov 30, 2009 2:13 pm

Entering my metrics into the CPAP.COm sizing guide for a particular mask I got the following message:

"Given your measurements, the {mask_name} is not the ideal mask for you."

That was a surprise.

I noticed that "Nose Depth Measurement" doesn't have my length. It only goes up to 1", but my nose is longer than that (I must have told too many lies). Has anyone else noticed that?

EDIT: I also just noticed that it recommended an X-Small Quattro, but it recommended a Small a few weeks ago. I don't have a record of my sizing from my Quattro order, so I can't tell what changed. Very weird. Especially the X-Small part!

The nose depth is the depth at the bridge of your nose, directly between your eyes. Are you sure you do not have it confused with how far out it protrudes at the base or how long it is from top to bottom? you might want to try looking at the photos and double check you are measuring correctly.

You might want to download a mask fitting template from Resmed to help guide you with sizing.
