I hope your holidays have been a smash hit so far. The holidays aren't always a cheery time and many people feel blue due to the weather and other factors ending in 'in-law.'
DkDc has begun an article on the subject of Light Therapy, one treatment used for Seasonal Affective Disorder:

It's short and sweet - but an informative and inspiring start. DkDc invites you to edit the article and add your two cents. I also ask that this week CPAPtalk members give a few words on Depression. How Sleep Apnea affects Depression and how CPAP affects depression. That article will be started here (You must be logged in to edit this page):

don't worry about Wiki typing and code, I'm here to make things shiny and bright.

Re: Dkdc's Winter Blues CPAP Wiki Article
I've had chronic depression and been on meds almost continuously for nearly 20 years. Without meds, I can't even function. However, since starting CPAP in May, 2009, I have been able to reduce the dosage of my antidepressants by about half so far. Nothing else has changed, so I'm giving credit to sleep apnea treatment for the improvement. For me this is a great achievement.
