Respironics stats

Post by cotech50 » Fri Nov 27, 2009 5:48 pm

Hope all had a good Thanksgiving: I finally see some stats on my Respironics, night 2 went much better than the first although with the mask I have to use side sleeping all the time when before I moved around. The AHI is showing a 2.3 and with a range from 7 to 15 the 90% pressure is showing an 11 are these numbers accurate and what does the 90% pressure mean? Also when I take the SD card in is there much more information stored on it and I assume the software they will use takes the raw data and makes a readable report does anyone know?

There is currently no end user software for the PR System One machines. There have been delivery dates of first quarter 2010 to sometime in 2012 quoted. Some people have decided to go the the M series so they could use Encore Viewer (or Encore Pro, if they can find a copy on EBay since Respironics doesn't sell it to the public any longer).

I have a friend that is going back to his DME and will be requesting the Respironics M Series Auto CPAP instead of the PR System One Auto CPAP since he wants to track his treatment and be more involved in knowing what is going on.
