So I need to find something else that I can use as primary and someone suggested the new new Hans Rudolph I would like some feedback on what the mask is like befofe I order it. Thanks.

I think the mask is pretty good, but the headgear is a pain.....apparently it was designed for people that don't have ears.

Wonder if there's some kind of headgear alternative for it....

I tried one before it was redesigned. I looked at the new one and didn't really see much of a diference. The mask leaked horribly on me. I purchased one out of my own pocket because my DME did't use them said they were horrible. I got the measurement wrong and got one that was too bit. I spent again and got the size I needed originally and it leaked just as bad. The headgear was not easy to use.
The mask looked like it would work good and seal and the headgear looked like a great idea. Unfortunately I would have to say it crashed and burned for me.

The V2 is a great mask IF you have a very symetrical face, if not it will leak horribly. Also as Gerry mentioned, you need to get the size right, sizing it is a simple enough task if you take your time.

I'm wondering though about your headgear on the Forma, I also use this mask. I have been using it for about 4 months now and have not noticed any stretching of the headgear. If you headgear is indeed stretched out and it's only been 3.5 weeks i would return it to the DME where you got it, that is unacceptable. I'm sure F&P would be very interested to know that the headgear is failing in such a short time.

I appreciate all of this feedback. This really helps for me to move forward. I will ask ,y DME if I can get new headgear replacement at no cost and see what happens. I think it is still important to try and find a back up mask to change off with. So I guess I'll just h ve to keep looking.
