I have been on cpap for around 3 years. Not new to cpap but I got a data capable machine in about April of this year thanks to reading here.
I used to have a VERY dry mouth ..even my teeth would hurt. Felt better but not great. I kept trying new masks. Got the cozy cover. Tried taping . I think the masks would leak then cause the air pressure to go up . Now pressure overall is much better thanks to Full LIfe mask.
The new Full Life has changed it all . What a difference a mask makes! So keep trying folks don't give up!

The right mask is the most important part of this whole thing! No one mask will work for everyone. Once you get the mask figured out it gets much easier.

Montana: How did you get hat mask to not irritate the nose bridge? I can't use mine for that reason.

Montana, how the heck did you get it to not leak? That's my question. I think I would really love this mask if I could get it not to leak. For now, I'm using my trusty Swift LT.

Congratulaltions on getting the Full Life to work for you, it is a great mask
Tattooyu, I can get my leaks pretty well solved. BUT, no matter what I try, bandaids, moleskin, paper tape, some attached to the mask & me, others tried solo on the mask and or on me. It takes about a half hour of use, and that mask has done a rooter rooter effect on the bridge of my nose, and managed to bruse the sides.
The DME can't offer any other suggestions.
The first time I used it, I though I had found THE PERFECT MASK. I slept wonderfully, but when I took the mask off, my nose was skinned. It also sensitized my nose, and it damages my nose within minutes of use now.
There has gotta be a way to get it to not leak for you and not bug the noses of the rest of us.

A simple nose job will make the mask work!
Seriously, though - some masks work well for some people and seem to not work at all for others. The Full Life is a wonderful mask for some people, I think.

It made my nose get a big red pimple and sore and the soreness lasted days after i stopped wearing it. I tried more than once to use this mask with the same results on my nose.

It is crazy but I even read how it made red marks on others faces but something told me this mask design was the best I have ever seen. I have had many others so knew what to look for and those all made red marks too by the way and they felt hard and heavy on my skin..
I will admit this mask injured my nose early on...so I used a band aid and some cream to heal. It was just a red mark nothing serious. I wore the band aid for awhile then said to myself this SHOULD WORK without a band aid! I looked it over and it has a flap that goes down onto the nose . What I discovered it was doing early on was putting my head through the lower strap then "setting " the mask straight onto my face...it sealed fine but still left a red mark.
The I looked it over and analyzed how the thing works. Then I did it differently; I put lanosith on the bridge ..I put my head through lower strap raise UP the mask where is was ONTO MY NOSE. The I slide it up gently so the flap is resting comfortably and NOT FOLDED. Then I turn on the air and make sure NO leaks. I do sleep on my side. I find that gives best results. I looked today and had a tiny red mark but it disappeared fairly quickly.

This 'folding' of the flap I think is how the blisters develop for some and ALSO using the right size mask is important too. Make sure you condition this mask by soaking it in warm water with gentle soap for at least one hour too.
