Anyone use the Silverlining 3.6 software, with a PB GK425?

If so...

How difficult is it to install? What do I need? What device detects the sleep events and communicates it to the software? How do you download it to your computer? Does the software wear out after 200 nights of data or will it overwrite the data? Do you need to use the software nightly???

Joe,
SL3 on the 425 does not report anything but compliance and respiratory rate. No apnea report, no hypopnea report, no snoring report, no flow limitation report, If any sales person says otherwise, request a demonstration with you own data. Prepared demo's on computers can be rigged to show anything.

As for your other questions:

How difficult is it to install?
Very easy.

What do I need?

The software CD and cable, can be bought at our hosts, cpap.com

What device detects the sleep events and communicates it to the software?

That happens inside the machine, no cardreader or anything on this one.

How do you download it to your computer?
With a cabe from a phone jack in the machine to the serial or USB port on your computer.

Does the software wear out after 200 nights of data or will it overwrite the data?
Overwrites one night after the other.

Do you need to use the software nightly???
That's a personal preference - and changes.

O.

No decent reports for the PB 425?

Isn't it just a matter of getting the newer software? I think
you need version 2.8 to get reports out of the Model 425.
