Encore pro moving files

Post by Gerryk » Mon Nov 23, 2009 1:50 pm

Hey all, I got a new laptop with windows7 home premium and I am upgrading my home computer to Windows7 ultimate. I am going to install Encore Pro the old version not 2.1 no one has that yet. My question is it possible to take the data from my old computer and copy it to one of these other computers after I install encore pro.

Thanks

Gerry

Export your Patient Name to a disk file, and then re-import this file to your new EncorePro installation. No need to copy the database files, just copy the Patient exported xml file from one EncorePro installation to another.

Thanks, Hopefully the encore pro install goes fine, then I will export and import. Since the new laptop will be ready first I will just install it on there.

Thanks
