Altitude

Post by Mary » Sun Sep 18, 2005 11:58 am

I live at 3280ft above sea level and am planning a trip to Houston, TX. Do I need to see about having the settings changed on my RemStar Plus, or can someone tell me how to set it for the lower altitude?

According to this site, http://remstar.respironics.com/specs.htm the Remstar Plus has low medium and high altitude definitions. Unlike other devices, that have automatic altitude compensation.

My guess:
Either it's there in the clinicians manual (it's not in the patient's manual) and someone can tell you, or... you have to contact your DME (sigh).
