Trying not to spill

Post by fred4b » Sun Nov 15, 2009 10:30 am

HAve a new Aeiomed Everest 3 (love it) but here's a major glitch. When you hold the humidifyer resevoir in your hand you cannot see the water maximum fill line. I know it sounds weird, but you cant. And the hole to fill the water is very small. It's hard enough to fill the darn thing without spilling, but if you stop once or twice to flip over and see how full it is, no doubt you end up spilling.

YEah, I know I could take it to the countertop, kitchen, bath, etc. But get real. You fill the darn thing when you are half asleep and are ready to hop in bed most the time. Is using a funnel the only way to fix this problem???

PS- The resevoir is very small

Figured out the solution after I posted the remark. The Everest 3 holds exactly 1 cup of water (to the fill line). I simply dug around in the kitched until I found a one cup measurung cup with a good lip for pouring. I was successful getting water into the machine wthout the spillage. Ofcourse I haven't been drinking this morning either. Will see how it works tonight after a few cocktails!

Where there's a will there's a way, right? My humidifier has fill line markings for both positions, so I was going to suggest you adding a mark in the position where there is none. Your way is much easier, as long as you are starting with an empty tank. A sense of humor about life's little challenges does help, doesn't it?
