Long time for no post but lurking at times.
I use two nasel pillow masks currently a Comfort Lite 2 and Mirage Swift LT. I prefer the Comfort over the Mirage because it provides more stability and less leaks. My cpap machine is next to me and the Mirage is so light that the tubing pulls at the nose and creates leaks. When I was on vacation I had the machine behind my head and the Swift worked great.
Since I have given you some background on my masks now the question.
I tend to get nasel congestion throughout the year and this blockage keeps me from wearing my masks, because it it too claustrophobic. Would a full face mask aleaviate this problem? If so what full face mask would you suggest? If not what other suggestions do you have?
Nasel Pillow vs Full face mask?
Re: Nasel Pillow vs Full face mask?
One of the hybrid style masks; they cover the mouth & have nasal pillows. I have the RespCare Hybrid and love it. Worked great during my recent cold when I was occasionally totally blocked, could easily breathe thru mouth.
ResMed S9 range 9.8-17, RespCare Hybrid FFM
