A couple of easy fixes

Heading into month 2 of CPAP therapy. I use the Activa LT nasal mask and the Escape S8 machine.

I've fixed a couple of little problems that have cropped up, so I thought I'd share them here in case people are searching.

The first problem was a very annoying squeak in the socket of the Activa LT where the hose connects to the mask. Googling revealed that this is a very common problem on these masks. My fix was to go out to CVS and buy a small bottle of their generic version of liquid K-Y. Just a drop or two in the socket and the squeak is completely gone (and has stayed gone for days).

The second problem was discomfort from having the hose in bed with me. Sometimes I ended up on top of it; often the hose dangling out from under the covers would let cold air into the bed (which, as it has been getting colder at night, has been more and more of an annoyance).
