Question about infinfineer not reading card

Good morning!

I've been on APAP since mid-June, and in September bought a new Infineer card reader. From then through mid-October I could download and look at my data through the Encore Viewer. Then the reader stopped seeing the card. My computer recognizes the reader, and when I put the card in the reader light turns red, but it used to turn green and I could download my data into the computer. The only thing that happened meanwhile is I did once put the card backwards into my PAP machine, but the flashing blue lights warned me and I figured that one out. Since then, the reader will not download any date. When the card is in, the reader's light is red; when it is not in the reader light is off. The computer aknowleged the "new usb device).

Suggestions? Ideas? Thanks!

Sorry, folks. I re-loaded the software, and now it is working just fine.

Which OS are you using? Which Service Pack?

Windows XP; I don't know which service pack.

My primary computer is on Linux, and I wish I could use Encore with that!
