Wow...I'm so impressed with EVERYBODY!!!! You're all doing beautifully!! I thought I would try and respond to each persons' post but there are so many that I think I'll just summarize.

Sounds like "3" was the magic number this week. Whether you lost or gained, please be proud of yourselves. Yes, even those who gained because you are starting to take control of your lives...that's HUGE. You're thinking about losing weight and taking steps toward improving your health. I definitely want to encourage everybody to eat healthy and EXERCISE. Now, I know that's a 4-letter word to most of us, but really, it's essential to improving your health. I HATE exercising but I want to be around long enough to play with my grand-kids some day....don't you want to too??? Get off your butt for 20 or 30 minutes a day and JUST DO IT!!!!!! You don't have to run a marathon or anything...take a walk...park your car at the end of the parking lot, walk up the stairs instead of taking the elevator. These are things we can all do and they DO make a difference.

R&R, it's time for you to get serious and stop saying you can't do this because you travel. Of course you can! It just takes some effort on your part. Getting healthy takes work and committment. You just need to do some planning ahead. I'm assuming you stay in hotels when you travel...do they have exercise rooms? If not, take a walk around the neighborhood...check things out. Once you start seeing your progress, you'll be able to keep yourself motivated. Just give it a try. We're all here for you and we want you to get Healthy!!!

LindaS...you little stinker...why didn't you tell me you lost all that weight??? I am THRILLED for you!!! I knew you were seeing progress but this is solid! Don't you feel great??!!!

I hope I haven't left anybody out. I think about all of you during the week and hope that you're all staying motivated. If you ever want to send me a PM, I will respond. When I get skinny (about a year from now), I'm going to finally post a picture of myself. How about we all do that??

Keep up the great work everybody and remember...YOU CAN DO IT ( I hear Ty Pennington in my head everytime I say that...)

First of all, I have to say congratulations to everyone on this site who not only lost the lbs. they did this week, but who, regardless, stuck to it. We made it through a week together and that's great.

Second of all, today my computer and this site are not getting along. I post and I get guested, even though I sign in over and over again. I think the third post today that said Guest was me. I have to do a little computer troubleshooting later and figure this one out. I also didn't get another email saying anyone posted to this thread. Now I have to check all the topics that I was interested in reading up on and see if there are new posts.

In any event, have a great weekend to all. 3 lbs. seems to be the common number this week. I would have killed to have lost 3 lbs. this week. I gained the one. But I knew the last 9 were going to be rough, and with the hormonal condition right now...well, nuff said (they are some men joining us here and I forgot when I rambled on this morning).

Here's to next Friday...good luck everyone. And congrats again to those lucky losers.

Amy,

Every time I hear, "Bus drive, move that bus" I think of Ty Pennington.

And I love the attitude, too, about WHEN you get skinny, you'll post a photo of yourself. How brave would we all be if we posted one NOW??? I think I've probably lost any friend I've ever made on this site with that one last sentence . Okay, we'll wait until we reach our target weights and then we will have to post our photos.

It would be great if everyone would post a photo so we could finally put the screen names with the faces. But who am I to talk? I hate my photos. I never thought, my whole life, that I photographed well. Although now when I look back at my younger photos, I'd kill to look like that again. Didn't realize what I looked like when I looked that way. But aren't we always our worst critics?

LOL-I was going to post my photo from my surprise bridal shower 25 years ago when I weighed about 110 lbs, but thought better. You'd all realize I wasn't 23 and know that it either couldn't be recent or not me entirely. Boy, are those days long gone...

I didn't lose any, but I didn't gain any back. .

At least I'm feeling better finally (cough almost completely gone) and I'm in town for a while, so I can start getting that much needed exercise!

Congratulations Bill!! IMHO not gaining weight is almost as good as actually losing weight. I'm sure you'll have success soon....especially if you can stay home for awhile. I'm having a few problems. My foot is really hurting and I'm thinking it's from the exercising (30 min. on elliptical) and my stomach is VERY distressed from all the fruit and veggies (it's not pretty). I'm thinking I might have to take a few days off from fruits, veggies, and exercising. I hope not though 'cause it's always so hard to get started again...sigh... I had a doctor tell me I should do the South Beach Diet to lose weight but that involves alot of protein (I'm not a big meat eater)...I much prefer fruits and veggies. Are you doing any special "diet"?

No special diet; just trying to eat smarter.

My favorite is the seefood diet. When you see food, you eat it .

After spending the better part of last week in Chicago and of course, eating way too much Chicago style stuffed pizza and Chicago style hot dogs, I'm up 4 lbs.

But this weekend, I went to a local auction and managed to snag a NordicTrack ski machine in almost new condition for a whopping $5! I got it set up Sunday and managed to do a whole 5 minutes on it! What a workout (or it could just be I'm waaayyyy outta shape)! Only thing is, it'll dump me on my butt in a heartbeat if I don't watch it. My goal is to work up to 10 minutes morning and evening on it over the next couple of weeks.

On the good side, my DreamFit mask is working great! And at a much lower pressure than I was originally titrated at, so leaks are way down. Life is good!

This therapy works!!!
