Re: The Perfect Sleep
Do other people sleep like this all the time?
First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.

Lately I do. Usually have an AHI of 1.4...and often I cannot even feel the mask on my face when I wake up. Good times!raggedykat wrote:Do other people sleep like this all the time?

Over time you will have most nights like this but there will still be that occasional bad night that will make you scream. The good thing is that that will happen only rarely and the effects will be less severe because of the good nights. Congrats and keep up the great work!!

Which I never was before so why would I be now? One of my co-workers told me the other day that she could see a change in me (for the better) so that is good enough for me.
raggedykat - good for you! there is nothing better than a good night's sleep.
i was kind of expecting to feel like 'superman' (or even just superboy), but so far haven't. that may happen later, but if not i keep reminding myself that if cpap therapy holds of the long term damage that untreated apnea causes, then it's well worth it!
thanks for the good report -

Re: The Perfect Sleep
Congrats! That's such a fabulous feeling....
Most nights, I sleep well. Sometimes, when I'm stressed or sick , or my mask turns evil on me ( I KNOW it has a personality!) I have a bad night. Sometimes, you can do the exact same thing you did the night before and have a totally different experience. But knowing that you CAN have a perfect night is worth a million......
Keep on keeping on!
All the best,
Lee Ann

I'm jealous. Green with envy. Good on you, though, hope you feel wonderful after it!
I can never make it more than 6 hours (when lucky), and any time after that is very broken. Could be it would be the same without apnea, of course - an age-related thing. I need 8 or more to feel optimal, but so far no hope of getting them uninterrupted.
I live in hope!
