Periodic limb movement monitoring via Fitbit
Re: Periodic limb movement monitoring via Fitbit
Hi Linagee - I have PLM in the form of RLS which appears as CAs on OSCAR but is specifically diagnosed in sleep study. I am now titrating up doses of Gapentin under the prescription of a specialist. However, titration requires some analysis of benefit and I would like to more accurately monitor my RLS to see if it is declining or static (or worsening!). I can try to use events as a proxy but I am keen to follow up with either a Zeo or Wiimote as you suggest. However, before I leap into that I can see that I will need that python program you have written to read the Wiimote accelerometer file and dump that to ASCII and then somehow use an EDF browser to analyse the data as you suggest. I am hoping you can help me jump some of these seemingly rather obstruse hurdles. Have you progressed these ideas? Can you assist? Any help will be very much appreciated.

you may not have noticed, but this thread is old. linagee hasn't logged on here since 2019.

Re: Periodic limb movement monitoring via Fitbit
Thanks Zonker. My bad! But I couldn't do a PM to Linagee because I am a newbie to this very useful board!
I appreciate your clarification.
