Other Reasons for Snore Line

Post by Sleepless on LI » Thu Sep 15, 2005 6:21 am

I was looking at the events graph on EncorePro this morning and it showed a snore line/event at 0 on the timeline. That would mean I put my mask on and immediately snored? Uh-uh. It was almost invisible as it blended into the left vertical line that makes up the graph box and you could almost miss seeing it. But as the software said there were three, I was looking to find where the third was, and there it was, blending in with the left line of the box.

What could have caused the software to think I snored the second I put my mask on? I can't talk as my mouth is Tegaderm patched and I didn't make any noises whatsoever. Makes me wonder if the other two snores were even real snores, too. NOT that I'm concerned, just curious.

Maybe you just cleared your throat, sniffed, rubbed your mask against your pillow or otherwise made noise.

Bill,
How did the doctor's visit go? Do you have an upper respiratory or bronchitis? Thinking of you...let me know how you're doing. I hope better.

I wasn't able to get to the doctor that day and by the next I was improved.

What I'm coughing up is clear, so no infection. Antihistamines and expectorant cough syrup are taking care of things. If I can only stop the post-nasal drip everything will clear up fast.
